Highlights for over a decade According to Directorate of Vocational Education and Training (Ministry of Labour, Invalids and Social Affairs), over the past decade, cooperation in vocational education between Vietnam and Laos has included two major milestones: the period 2008-2018. and the period 2019 - 2021.
Director General Truong Anh Dung attended the 2nd ASEAN Vocational Education Council meeting
On November 17, 2022, at the headquarters of Directorate of Vocational Education and Training (DVET), Director General Truong Anh Dung and representatives of leaders of departments and units attended the second online meeting of the ASEAN Vocational Education Council (ASEAN Vocational Education Council). ATC) was held in Manila, Philippines, the country between the ATC Chairman for the 2020-2022 term. Attending the meeting were ATC focal points from ASEAN member states, the ASEAN Secretariat, representatives of RECOTVET, the Council of Forces Future Labor of ASEAN, Southeast Asian Ministers of Education Organization (SEAMEO), ASEAN Employers Confederation, ASEAN Trade Union Council, ILO, Australia, India, Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development The main purpose of discussing the activities proposed from the first meeting, relevant decisions at the ASEAN meetings, ATC's Action Plan to 2023, the cooperation of related parties and the handover of the ATC Chairman. Speaking at the meeting, Director General Truong Anh Dung highly appreciated the activities that the Philippines as ATC President and partners have carried out in 2020 - 2022. At this second ATC meeting, DVET hoped that ATC would continue to exchange and carry out activities to implement the plans set out to 2030 and in line with the agendas within the framework of ASEAN cooperation.
