Many efforts in vocational education cooperation between Vietnam and Laos
Highlights for over a decade According to Directorate of Vocational Education and Training (Ministry of Labour, Invalids and Social Affairs), over the past decade, cooperation in vocational education between Vietnam and Laos has included two major milestones: the period 2008-2018. and the period 2019 - 2021.
Director General Truong Anh Dung attended the 2nd ASEAN Vocational Education Council meeting
On November 17, 2022, at the headquarters of Directorate of Vocational Education and Training (DVET), Director General Truong Anh Dung and representatives of leaders of departments and units attended the second online meeting of the ASEAN Vocational Education Council (ASEAN Vocational Education Council). HUMAN RIGHTS EDUCATION IN VOCATIONAL EDUCATION - ADVANTAGES AND DIFFICULTY
In recent years, Vietnam's economy has been developing miraculously, with an increasingly large and vibrant labor market. Therefore, the work of vocational education (TVET) has been paid more attention. On the State side, the TVET system has been moved to be placed under the unified management by the General Department of Vocational Education and Training, the Ministry of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs. IMPROVING CAPACITY FOR MANAGEMENT TEAM OF COLLEGES INVESTED TO BE A HIGH QUALITY SCHOOL
On August 26-27, 2022, in Vinh Phuc, Directorate of Vocational Education and Training (DVET) organized a training course "Improving the capacity of the management staff of the schools invested to become quality schools". high". Promoting cooperation in the field of vocational education between Vietnam and Pakistan
On July 15, 2022, Dr. Pham Vu Quoc Binh, Deputy Director General of Directorate of Vocational Education and Training (DVET), and leaders and staff of the General Department Office had a meeting with Ms. Samina Mehtab, Ambassador and Ms. Taskeen Umar, Deputy Ambassador, Embassy of Pakistan in Vietnam.  At the meeting, Deputy Director General Pham Vu Quoc Binh presented an overview of Vietnam's vocational education system such as: number of vocational education institutions, number of enrollments, training levels. training, national qualification framework, etc. Deputy Director General Pham Vu Quoc Binh also mentioned solutions that Vietnam's vocational education system has implemented in the context of the Covid-19 pandemic such as: transition to online training, applying technology in teaching and learning, training to respond to labor mobility in the context of the pandemic, changes in technology, as well as making policies to attract learners to the education system vocational education.
