Ministry of Construction’s Skills Competition came to an end

On afternoon 30th March 2016, the closing ceremony of the Ministry of Construction’s Skills Competition was held in Vietnam Soviet Vocational College No.1. Attendees in the closing ceremony included Dr. Cao Van Sam, Deputy Director General of the General Directorate of Vocational Training; representatives of the departments and units under the General Directorate of Vocational Training. Leaders of MOC’s Department of Personnel and Organization, leaders of Vinh Phuc Province’s Department of Construction, leaders of Vietnam National Union of Building Workers. Leaders of schools, training institutions and numerous contestants, teams participating in the contest.

Ministry of Construction’s Skills Competition 2016 attracted the participation of 39 contestants from 17 schools in 05 vocational fields including: Welding, Electrical installation, Plumbing, Brick building, Wall and floor cladding.After two days of competition the Jury selected 05 first prizes, 05 second prizes, 07 third prizes and 22 consolation prizes for 39 contestants


Dr. Cao Van Sam - Deputy Director General of the General Directorate of Vocational Training spoke at the closing ceremony.
Speaking at the closing ceremony, Dr. Cao Van Sam, Deputy Director General of the General Directorate of Vocational Training highly appreciated the Ministry of Construction’s Skills Competition 2016 asserting that this was a large-scale competition and achieved good results; The skills competition this year is the opportunity for vocational training institutions under the Ministry of Construction to promote the movement of emulation and learning, improvement of occupational skills; develop professional skills; while enhancing cooperation and exchanges between vocational training institutions under the Ministry in the field of vocational training and education. Deputy Director General wanted winning contestants to continue learning, striving for better occupational skills and the contestants who are going to participate in the National Skills Competition 2016 will continue to shine and attain high achievement.
