In the morning of June 8, 2020, in Hanoi, Director General of Directorate of Vocational Education and Training (DVET) Truong Anh Dung had a working with the Vietnam Association of Vocational Education and Social Work Associations led by Assoc. Duong Duc Lan, President of the Association, leads the delegation.

In order to continue implementing the work coordination program for the period of 2018-2020 signed between the Vietnam Association of Vocational Training and Social Work Profession and DVET in 2018, at the meeting exchange on the content of coordination in 2020 implementation, specifically: research collaboration, finalizing the legal system, developing mechanisms and policies on vocational education and training: Participating in developing strategies for developing vocational education and training in the period 2021-2030; Participating in the development of the Master Plan for vocational education and trainign institution network in the 2021-2030 period, with a vision to 2050; Participating in completing the legal system, developing mechanisms and policies on vocational education; participate in developing national vocational skill standards on "Setting the minimum amount of knowledge, required competency of learners attained after graduation (Output standard) for college and intermediate levels" on norms economic - technical and list of minimum training equipment; organize national and regional skills contests. At the same time, they will coordinate to promote propaganda in the magazine "Occupation & Life" on career guidance, start-up, vocational training diversion.

  Speaking at the meeting, Director General Truong Anh Dung highly appreciated the active and quality support of the Vietnam Association of Vocational Education and Social Work with DVET in last time. In the context that 2020 is the last year to complete the goals of the Vocational Education and Training Development Strategy for the period of 2011-2020, at the same time, research and propose directions and goals for the development of the vocational education system in the period of 2021- 2030, plan for the network of higher education institutions in the 2021-2030 period, with a vision to 2050.

The Director General proposed the Vietnam Association of Vocational Education and Social Work Professions to continue working closely with DVET to contribute to the development and improvement of the vocational education and training system.

On this occasion, on behalf of the Vietnam Association of Vocational Education and Social Work, Assoc.Prof. Dr. Duong Duc Lan, President of the Association presented flowers to congratulate Mr. Truong Anh Dung for his new position as Director General of DVET.
