Advisory, recruitment activities for students

DVET has coordinated with Tuoi Tre Newspaper, the Ministry of Education and Training to organize a program of advisory and recruitment for 2020. The advisory and recruitment program is held in 17 provinces and cities under the Central Government with the companion of VinGroup. In addition, DVET has coordinated with Thanh Nien Newspaper, Departments of Labor - Invalids and Social Affairs of provinces and cities directly under the Central Government to organize a number of advisory and recruitment programs for vocational education and training recruitment. This has diversified and enriched enrollment counseling, career guidance in 2020,contribute to promoting and increasing the spread and efficiency of recruitment in the vocational education and training system.

Especially, on 28/6/2020, there have been many advisory and recruitment programs in Hanoi, Hai Phong and Can Tho cities.





Explore trades, hunt for opportunities

That is the message that is conveyed to young people who are facing the opportunity to choose an employment in the recruitment season in 2020 at the advisory and recruitment day (June 28) in Hai Phong City and Can Tho.

In Can Tho, advisory and recruitment festival takes place with many exciting and useful activities and is a bridge to exchange and answer much practical information, helping students navigate their employment choices. The training level is suitable to the capacity, the knack of self and the family economic condition.

Answering the concerns of students and parents at the festival about which industry is 'hot' and can be stable in the next 10 years. Opportunities when studying in the field of biotechnology and logistics, Mr. Do Van Giang, Deputy Director of the Formal Training Department of the DVET, member of the advisory group said that DVET also cooperated with Australia to train logistics with 5 colleges in the Southern region to strengthen human resources for this field. The logistics industry is very large, inside there are many small specialties. In Hai Phong city, many high school rectors shared that this is the program on recruitment that students and parents expect the most since the COVID-19 epidemic.

The advisory and recruitment day 2020 includes a series of activities: The advisory and recruitment of vocational education and training for high school students.

Every year, about 2.2 million students, vocational education and training students graduate. After graduation, students have job opportunities and income after apprenticeship is also very good. In 2019, up to 85% of students will have jobs after graduation; there are even good students in their first and second year who have jobs; Average starting salary of vocational school institutions also improved, from 7 to 10 million. Mr. Nguyen Chi Truong, Director of the Occuptional Skills Department, DVET said that vocational education and training in Hanoi has many strengths, in the national, ASEAN and the world vocational skills competition for many years,  Hanoi always ranks first in the nation. Hanoi has contributed a lot of contestants to achieve achievements in the ASEAN Exams and the world. The exam questions in vocational skills exams are always updated by DVET according to the requirements and standards of the ASEAN Exam and the world. It can be affirmed that Hanoi's investment policy for vocational education has been on the right track, suitable and contributing to the development of the city.
