Director General Truong Anh Dung works with Taipei Economic and Cultural Office in Hanoi

In the afternoon of June 10, 2020, in Hanoi, Director General of Directorate of Vocational Education and Training (DVET) Truong Anh Dung had a working with the delegator of Taipei Economic and Cultural Office headed by Mr. Chu Da Minh, Head of Education Department, is the leader of the delegation. Joining the delegation were leaders of the Formal Training Department and the DVET Office of DVET.





At the meeting, on behalf of the delegator of Taipei Economic and Cultural Office, Mr. Chu Da Minh congratulated Mr. Truong Anh Dung on being appointed as the Director General of DVET and invited DVET and representatives of some vocational education and training institutions in Vietnam visit and learn about Taiwan's vocational education  and training system in the near future.

At the meeting, Mr. Truong Anh Dung, Director General of DVET, thanked the Taipei Economic and Cultural Office for his best wishes. Mr. Dung said the Vietnamese Government welcomed and will arrange for the mission to visit Taiwan and look for opportunities for cooperation in vocational education and training, which is expected to take place before October 2020. In 2021, Vietnam will take part in the Competition in Shanghai, Taiwan, which is a successful country in the World Skill Competition. Suggest Taiwan to cooperate and support Vietnam on this Competition.

Currently, many Taiwanese enterprises are operating in Vietnam. Vietnam wants Taiwanese enterprises to support vocational education and training institutions in Vietnam in improving vocational skills of human resources to meet business requirements. The Director General asked the concerned departments and units of DVET to continue studying and proposing specific cooperation contents with Taiwan in the coming time.
