Speaking at the launching ceremony, Minister Dao Ngoc Dung said that the 4th industrial revolution has been having great and strong impacts on the global social economy.

According to the Minister, within the next 10-15 years, the 4th industrial revolution will make 30% of current jobs and 40% of labor skills no longer suitable and forced to change.

In this context, countries around the world were also greatly affected by the Covid-19 pandemic. Preliminary shows that about 195 million workers in the world are unemployed. “Vietnam has 55 million employees. The Covid-19 epidemic is causing about 670,000 people to be laid off, stopped working, under employed and unemployed, ”said Minister Dao Ngoc Dung.

The 2020 Kite Startup will be organized in three rounds: Preliminary round, semi-finals and finals. The preliminary round will take place from May 28 to the end of August 15, candidates / teams of candidates at vocational training institutions across the country send contest documents to their vocational training institutions. . Vocational education institutions will select 3 applications (first, second, third) to enter the semi-finals before August 20.
The semi-finals (regional round) took place online and offline from August 20 to October 10 according to regions across the country: Northwest, Northeast, Red River Delta, South Central. , Central Highlands, Southeast, Southwest. Candidates / groups of contestants will present and criticize to the judges who are representatives of businesses in the area to protect their ideas. In each region, 3 applications (first, second, third) will be selected to attend the final round, completed before 11/10.

The final round is expected to take place in November 2020 in Ho Chi Minh City with 24 contestants / best candidates will convince, negotiate with investors to raise capital, and handle the situation case by the jury. Detailed information about the contest rules is posted on the website http://gdnn.gov.vn .
