The Director General worked with some vocational education training institutions in Quang Ninh province on the recruitment and training after the COVID-19 epidemic.

On 8/5/2020, the delegation of the Directorate of Vocational Education and Training (DVET) led by Director General Nguyen Hong Minh headed the delegation to work with 02 vocational education and training institutios (VET institutions) in Quang Ninh province: Dong Bac Agriculture and Forestry College, College of Industrial and Constructional on the recruitment and training in 2020.



At VET institutions, the delegation heard reports about student safety. All students who are measured temperature, hand sanitizer ... according to instructions. In particular, College of Industrial and Constructional has researched and produced automatic hand sanitizer sprayers, non-touch body temperature measuring devices and whole body disinfection chambers to participate in Covid 19 prevention and control awarded to some units in the Province and DVET. Accompanying with the College to implement this idea, the Department of Science and Technology of Quang Ninh Province has guided and supported VET institutions to continue perfecting, researching and developing product standards, registering intellectual property rights protection, organized production for the market and ordered 75 automatic hand sanitizers.     

Speaking at the working sessions, Director General Nguyen Hong Minh acknowledged the spirit of initiative and effort to realize the dual goal, both preventing epidemics, teaching and learning in difficult conditions of the University. Glad that the disease has basically been controlled, students are allowed to return to school but note that the disease still has many unpredictable risks, so schools need to continue to be vigilant and absolutely do not neglect, actively deploy measures to prevent and protect safety for students and teachers.


In addition, it is necessary to continue promoting the effectiveness of online teaching and learning in the past time to apply in the next stage, because this is not only a temporary solution but also an opportunity to move towards digital transformation in training and training management. Online training will be developed for appropriate content and modules to ensure that learners can participate in learning anytime, anywhere. Academic results are recognized as those of other training institutions and can be used to link vocational training in vocational education and to higher levels. This is the foundation for building a learning society associated with lifelong learning.

For the recruitment task, the General Director also suggested that the universities strengthen the enrollment solutions, organize training on the basis of promoting the application of information technology and social networks such as online recruitment websites. of schools on facebook, twitter, viber, zalo or on their websites; building digital communication publications on counseling, career guidance ... to ensure the recruitment and training activities in 2020 to be carried out stably according to the set plan.

  The Director General also noted the recommendations of the schools and assigned the specialized units of  DVET to advise the schools on a number of issues such as training registration, tuition compensation, support. Investment in key industries and trades was selected. At the same time, it is recommended that the schools on the basis of the experience and training strengths of each school continue to consolidate and promote in order to strive to become one of the high quality colleges which are capable of training a number of branches. occupations which are recognized by advanced countries in ASEAN region or internationally to meet the country's requirements of socio-economic integration and development.
