The report on the implementation of the April mission by DVET show that: In general, in the context of the COVID 19 epidemic, besides seriously implementing the prevention of epidemic, professional activites subjects, activities of developing legal documents and some other activities of DVET have been actively implemented as planned and suitable to the context of COVID 19 disease prevention. Departments and units of the General Department have made great efforts and efforts to perform the assigned professional tasks.

Regarding documents, DVET issued timely guidelines and instructions for the entire vocational education and training system to seriously implement the prevention of COVID-19 diseases as directed of the Government, the Prime Minister, guide ministries and agencies; documents directing and guiding the entire vocational education and training system to apply information technology in enrollment consultancy, online training; submitted to the Ministry for signing and issuing many guiding Circulars; continue to improve documents submitted to the Government such as the project "Training and retraining workers to meet the requirements of the Fourth Industrial Revolution", Prime Ministers Directive "On solutions breakthrough development of human resources with occupational skills to meet the requirements of improving labor productivity and national competitiveness in the new situation ”; accelerate the formulation and completion of draft legal documents according to the five-year plan program submitted to the competent authorities for approval.

The professional duties has been actively implemented by the Departments and units under the General Department according to the assigned work plans and programs. DVET has issued many documents guiding Departments of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs, vocational education and training institutions to actively apply IT in recruitment, online training, organization of management and evaluation in Online training to ensure training quality; High-quality training was promoted in line with the context of the COVID-19 epidemic, continuing to guide pilot training for 22 international-level careers transferred from Germany in the direction of promoting online training; Implementing the evaluation and certification of national occupational skills, term 4/2020; recognize and grant national vocational skills certificates to those who meet the requirements; issuing national vocational skill assessor cards to eligible people; the development of teachers in the direction of professional standardization, vocational skills, pedagogical skills is promoted ...

Communication on vocational education is maintained and strengthened focusing on the content of prevention and response to epidemics COVID-19, application of information technology in enrollment counseling and online training, communication foreign affairs are promoted.

Speaking at the meeting, Director General Nguyen Hong Minh praised the units in DVET for overcoming many difficulties caused by the COVID-19 epidemic to deploy assigned tasks and achieve results. certain. In the coming time, the Departments and units are requested to continue promoting the institution building work, focusing on thoroughly researching and finalizing the legal documents and proposals submitted to the competent authorities for approval. Basically, after the epidemic is under stable control, vocational education institutions still face many difficulties in enrollment. Therefore, it is necessary to study the mechanism to strengthen career-counseling enrollment towards approaching learners at high schools. In addition to assigning autonomy in enrollment to schools must be associated with accountability, DVET strengthens the supervision of enrollment and training activities of the vocational education and training institutions. Departments and units focus on completing the program of implementation plans for professional tasks, conferences, seminars, and research seminars, and consider them in an online form to reduce costs but still ensure quality assurance, efficiency.
