Besides the good results achieved, the organization of the exam still has some shortcomings that need to be evaluated and learned from experience. After the national skills competition, the selection and training of the team to participate in ASEAN and world skills competitions are also very important.

Due to the impact of the Covid-19 epidemic on global scale, on November 3, the General Assembly of the World Skills Competition held an extraordinary meeting and agreed to delay the organization of the 46th World Skills Competition in Shanghai, China to 2022. After this decision, ASEAN Skills Competition Organizing Committee will hold an online meeting to discuss the organizational plans and to decide whether the event should be held or not. In the world, some countries have already held skills competition, or planned to hold skills competitions at the end of the year. Among these countries, there are a number of countries such as Russia, Canada and Indonesia decided to organize online skills competitions. To take part in the ASEAN skills competition, the registration of the occupations is very important. According to the preliminary registration, Vietnam has participated in 22 vocational occupations. One of the important content about the preparation of skills competitions in ASEAN and in the world is the involvement of enterprises, how they participate and which occupations they sponsor.

Delegates attending the meeting spent a lot of time discussing, exchanging and giving suggestions, practical experiences gained from the national skills competition, selecting and coaching the team to join ASEAN and world competition. According to some delegates, it is necessary to have tests to select members of jury panel; expanding the contestants and adding new occupations to approach ASEAN and world skills competitions; in some occupations, the lengths of time for competition and assessment are extended so that the scores did not updated on the CIS system on time. The financial work of preparing materials for some exam occupations has not been proactive due to the lack of economic - technical norms. The majority of delegates agreed that the most outstanding of the competition is its success, ensuring fairness, transparency and innovation.

The valuable and open-minded suggestions and recommendations to solve the problems in the organizing process are very relevant. The main problems are in the preparation and selection of experts and equipment. This is the stage that in the coming time, Organizing Committee of Vietnam Skills Competition will focus on to address, in other words, it takes a longer time to prepare, selecting the occupations for the competition, together with well-prepared conditions, avoid relying too much on devices.

The organizers agreed and highly appreciated the recommended expansion of participants in the competition, not only students, but also workers, expanding occupations in the direction of approaching ASEAN and world skills competitions. In addition, we need to improve the regulations on skills competitions to enhance the similarity compared to the actual competitions, as well as the financial regulations so that the councils and the host organizers can be more proactive in preparation. The most outstanding point of the comments is that this was an objective and fair competition. The Deputy Head of the Organizing Committee of Vietnam Skills Competition suggested: The Council should assign functional units to sum up and monitor the candidates' improvement process after the competition.

This is our desire because seeing the successful process, applying top skills in the job, the grown-up in career path is a great reward for the trainers. The skills competition is an opportunity, a launching pad for candidates to develop their skills, start a business and develop their career. The delegations participating in the competition and even in the Organizing Committee should pay much attention to call for sponsors for the competition. Thereby increasing a wide range of social resources for the skills competition, enhancing the socialization factor, involvement and supervision of the social community in the skills competitions. Through the development, assessment and scoring activities, the team of experts will use their experiences to have more recommendations and applications in training curriculum, training and assessment methods, improving the quality of training and developing professional skills for the workforce.
