Tendency and strategy for vocational education development by 2030

Through “Programme Reform of TVET in Vietnam”, on May 30 in Hanoi, the National Institute of Vocational Education and Training Science and the German International Cooperation Organization (GIZ) organized a seminar on “Development of vocational education to 2030 trends and some strategic issues” with the participation of Vietnamese and German experts and representatives of some vocational schools of Vietnam.


Through “Programme Reform of TVET in Vietnam”, on May 30 in Hanoi, the National Institute of Vocational Education and Training Science and the German International Cooperation Organization (GIZ) organized a seminar on “Development of vocational education to 2030 trends and some strategic issues” with the participation of Vietnamese and German experts and representatives of some vocational schools of Vietnam.

Speaking at the seminar, Dr. Nguyen Quang Viet, Director of National Institute of Vocational Education and Training Science, said that the trend of vocational education levels has become more widely understood. Vocational education in the coming time is to develop, which emphasizes the flexibility of the system to remove barriers to learners (location, geographical distance, time, economy, age) so people have the opportunity to learn. The vocational training institutions must also be flexible to meet the needs of the labour market.

At the seminar, experts shared issues of autonomy in vocational education, trends and factors affecting vocational education, and issues of concern from the “Programme Reform of TVET in Vietnam” and German experience in developing vocational education...
