(In celebration of 41 years anniversary of Southern liberation, unification of the country (30/4/1975 - 30/4/2016), the 130th International Workers’ Day (01/5/1886 - 01/5/2016) and all-levels conference of the Ministry’s Trade Union during 2016-2021 tenure, on afternoon 14/4/2016, at Long Bien football field (Hanoi), the Ministry’s Trade Union in collaboration with the Youth Union of the Ministry of Labour - Invalids and Social Affairs held an opening ceremony for mini football tournament 2016. In celebration of 41 years anniversary of Southern liberation, unification of the country (30/4/1975 - 30/4/2016), the 130th International Workers’ Day (01/5/1886 - 01/5/2016) and all-levels conference of the Ministry’s Trade Union during 2016-2021 tenure, on afternoon 14/4/2016, at Long Bien football field (Hanoi), the Ministry’s Trade Union in collaboration with the Youth Union of the Ministry of Labour - Invalids and Social Affairs held an opening ceremony for mini football tournament 2016.
Attending the opening ceremony were Ms. Dao Hong Lan - alternate member of 12th Central Committee, Secretary of the Party Committee, Deputy Minister of Labour – Invalids and Social Affairs; Ms. Nguyen Thi Thu Hong - Deputy Chairman of Vietnam General Confederation of Labour, representative of Vietnam Trade Union’s members; Central agencies; Mr. Dao Ngoc Thinh - Chairman of Trade Union of the Ministry of Labour – Invalids and Social Affairs; Mr. Tran Quoc Huy – Standing member of the MOLISA’s Trade Union, Chairman of the GDVT’s Trade union; Other attendees in the opening ceremony included various leaders, officials and employees under the Ministry, the executive committee of Trade Union, Youth Union, the teams of the units participating in competitions along with audience coming to encourage and cheer for the teams.

Men’s mini football tournament of the ministry is one of the practical activities to create a useful and healthy playground enhancing physical fitness, exercise through which the spirit of solidarity of exchanges between the youth union members working at the MOLISA’s unions is strengthened.
The tournament 2016 takes place from 14/4/2016 until 25/4/2016 with the participation of 15 teams from the union organizations of the Ministry of Labour – Invalids and Social Affairs, is divided into 4 groups playing round-robin to select 8 teams for the quarter-finals, semi-finals and final.

Men's football team of GDVT is in the Group A with the teams: The Department of Social Assistance, the Department of Child Care and Protection, Magazine of Labour & Social Affairs. Following the opening ceremony, the team of General Directorate of Vocational Training played against the team from the Department of Social Assistance and won with the score 5-1, temporarily staying at top of the group. At 2PM on 15/4/2016, the team of General Directorate of Vocational Training will play against the team from the Department of Child Care and Protection.
