(nguoitieudung.com.vn) Being ineligible for entry into German universities, Vietnamese students are still able to seek long-term employment in Germany through “Vocational study in Germany”.

For a long time Germany has implemented the strategy “Dual education” enabling closer, flexible, highly effective linkage between theory and practice. This is what Vietnam is lacking, where human resource is the weakness of the country. The door to vocational training in Germany is widely open as the enterprises from fourth largest world economy is enhancing investment in Vietnam.
Apart from that, in Vietnam, thousand of university graduates are unable to seek employment after graduation. Even though numerous vocational schools have been established recently, but students still receive suspicious eyes from foreign joint-ventures.
In order to provide the student’s parents, the students a better overview of “vocational study abroad” – a name that might be unfamiliar with many people, on 18/12/2015, Institution of Vocational Education Studies (IVES) will organize a conference “Overseas vocational study in Germany – new pathway for Vietnamese students”.
The conference “Vocational study abroad in Germany – new pathway for Vietnamese students” will give overview of vocational training model being used in Germany, as well as student recruitment target for school year 2016-2019. Experts from Germany will provide direct consulting in areas such as caregiving, restaurant – hotel, mechanics – automobile, construction, German interpretation,…and students might be recruited in the conference.
Sharing opinion during the conference Roland Hanczuk said: “Strategy “dual training” of Germany enables close, flexible, highly effective linkage between theory and practice. Enterprises who are in need of expanding manpower will make plan for student recruitment. If the enterprise already has facilities for theoretical teaching in place then learners can concurrently learn theoretical and practical knowledge at the enterprise. If the enterprise does not have facilities for theoretical teaching, then the enterprise might cooperate with a school for theoretical teaching.”
Mr. Roland Hanczuk also emphasized that, study duration will be 3 – 3.5 years, with average of 2100 theoretical classes and 2500 practical classes. Students after graduation will be able to work for the enterprise where they study. Especially the enterprise might provide support in paying tuition fee (Ausbildunggeld). Level of support varies between enterprises and states but not lower than the level prescribed in federal regulation.
In 2015 school year, Institution of Vocational Education Studies (IVES) has signed plenty of memorandums – agreements with vocational schools, language teaching schools and German enterprises who are working on the transfer of vocational training modules from Germany to Vietnam, especially student recruitment consulting program – exchange of experts, lecturers, learners between the two parties.
Especially, Institution of Vocational Education Studies IVES officially opened the program of student enrollment consulting on occupations such as: Hotel – restaurant (Hotel/Restaurantfachman/-frau), Cook (Koch), Nurse, Caregiver ((Altenpfleger), Construction (Baubereich), Mechanics (Mechatronik), German interpretation (Dolmesche).
Admission in training program in Germany usually begins in September, October annually, there are enterprises that recruit within the year. For learners who already have A2 certificate or B1 certificate can start their study as early as next September.
During the conference, organizing committee also organized the lottery with many attractive prizes, which includes providing fund covering all tuition fee for student, including plane ticket.
