On May 14, at Hanoi General Vocational College (Thuy Xuan Tien commune, Chuong My district), Hanoi Department of Labour, Invalids and Social Affairs held a Conference on connecting vocational education to the market labor in 2019. Attending the conference were: Ms. Nguyen Thi Viet Huong - Deputy Director General of the Directorate of Vocational Education and Training; Mr. Khuat Van Thanh, Director of the Department of Labour, Invalids and Social Affairs and vocational education and training institutions in the capital area attended. The conference attracted 5000 students, students and laborers, 40 consulting booths for recruitment of vocational education and vocational skills demonstrations, 24 enterprises representing 512 enterprises cooperating with establishments. Professional education signed, 25 enterprises participated in the job transaction session with 1000 recruitment criteria.

The conference aims to strengthen communication and image promotion for the field of vocational education; attracting the attention of businesses, learners and society on vocational education; innovate orientation of career - oriented counseling methods to help students, and workers choose jobs and find suitable jobs.

Vocational education creates high-quality human resources, skilled industrial style is a key factor to play an important role in socio-economic development; is a driving force to promote the industrialization and modernization of the country, is a condition to promote human resources, basic factors for social development, rapid and sustainable economic growth.

After the Law on Vocational Education and Training was officially implemented, the completion of the transfer of vocational education in the field of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs management, the role of vocational education became more important, especially in the time when the whole country as well as Hanoi Capital. In particular, it is deeply involved in the integration process with the 4.0 industrial revolution, as well as contributing to improving the competitiveness index in the socio-economic development. Therefore, the development and implementation of measures to promote the development of vocational training to improve the quality of human resources are being paid attention and directed by the leaders at all levels.

Deputy Director of Hanoi Department of Labour, Invalids and Social Affairs emphasized: Training in association with enterprises, the labor market is considered as a breakthrough solution, and at the same time promoting vocational guidance counseling to stream high school students into vocational training.

According to the Department of Labour, Invalids and Social Affairs in Hanoi, for many years, Hanoi has developed and developed a model to link businesses with vocational training institutions, training using addresses to improve the quality of human resources.
